I recently became an Academic Editor at PLOS Climate!
I was motivated to join the PLOS Climate Editorial Board because of its strong commitment to open, interdisciplinary, and socially relevant research on climate change. My own work sits at the intersection of philosophy, climate science, and law, and I value platforms that bring these perspectives into dialogue.
I am particularly interested in contributing to a space where philosophical research can play a meaningful role alongside scientific and policy-oriented work. Climate change raises profound normative questions—about justice, responsibility, and the role of institutions—and philosophy has an important role to play in addressing them. Journals like PLOS Climate offer a unique opportunity to integrate these perspectives and ensure that ethical and philosophical analysis informs broader climate debates.
Being part of the Editorial Board allows me to support research that not only advances scientific understanding but also engages with the normative dimensions of climate change. I hope to contribute to strengthening the presence of philosophical work in the journal and to fostering conversations across disciplines that are essential for addressing the climate crisis.
